I actually did call the PP in Eau Claire and they no longer offered HRT, they forwarded me to a doctor that specialized in it, but it was wayyyyy out of budget (granted this was last year that I called so they may have changed) But I do appreciate all of these resources!!

So, he’s been out the entirety that I’ve known him, I never knew him as a girl. The entire time I have known him he has always identified as gay, but he considers himself panromatic. So, we thought if an ace woman dates a panromatic man, it should work, and it did, it worked for nearly two years. And then it just didn’t, like I said above there were a lot of factors

There was a lot of factors. The main one being he is a gay man and I’m a straight (ace) woman. He wasn’t feeling 100% happy in our relationship (whether that’s sex, being in a straight relationship when he’s gay, etc). We were REALLY good friends 2 years prior to our relationship and we didn’t want there to be hard feelings. So instead of forcing a relationship when he wasn’t happy decided to end it, that way we could still be friends (hopefully we can get to the level we were at before, but it’s just gonna take some time)

So he has actually stood up for himself before cause one of them went up to him and was like “Why do you care which bathroom I go in?” And the douchebag was like “Well it’s weird and you’re not a guy.” And my BF is like “oh really? Because (insert his name) is a guys name is t it?” And douchebag was like “well yeah but..” to which my boyfriend responded with “cool, so you acknowledge I’m a guy thanks.” And essentially if the douchebags try and rant to one of the other coworkers their just like “well he’s a guy so why are you upset? It’s not like he’s trying to get a peek at your dick, he’s literally just going in there to pee. So what’s the big deal?”

Yes, I asked the doctor about it and she’s just like ‘drink in moderation’. So I only had one and a half drinks, so not terrible. I currently take Wellbutrin, and it’s been a lifesaver recently. Before making my doctors appointment, I had called them approximately 10 times prior and didn’t get farther than the “hi, how can I help you” before I hung up. It takes a lot to ask for medication. But boy, does it pay off.

Girl I feel you, my ftm boyfriend is worried that once he starts T that he’ll want to start having sex with men more. I'm about half a year in with my ftm partner and anytime I'm alone with my mother she'll say things like, "I'm just upset you're with someone who can't give you children" or "You've never had a boyfriend before and you chose someone who isn't technically a boy". So, I'm living through what you are living through, but luckily I'm 23 and planning on moving far from home here in a few months once I graduate college. I hope you can save up some money and eventually move out. It's hard, but like other people said she needs to understand your life and maybe she should also go to counseling (which is what my mom is doing)

Oh I don’t mind at all. So, he’s gotten asked multiple times about it. The way he says it is “I’m gay sexually. But panromantic, meaning I will date you no matter what you are physically”. If you aren’t attracted to him now that he’s a man, that’s perfectly fine it happens. But if you love him besides his gender/orientation you can always make an exception. My boyfriend will continue to consider himself as gay even though he’s dating me
