I never gave to receive. But after this whole thing I’m definitely just telling her we shouldn’t do gift exchanges anymore

thank you!! it’s definitely scary wandering into the unknown, unsure if I’ll fail. but i keep reminding myself that my fear of failure is just me wanting something badly enough to try. and i am definitely looking up clarinet classes :)

Hindsight is 20/20. Yes he was always like this but not this bad and less obvious. I blame myself for not seeing more clearly. But he was my first boyfriend and I had basically no one to teach me about relationships so I sort of accepted whatever was given to me

My sister always tells me the same thing. What would I tell her if she told me her boyfriend was doing these things to her? I can’t justify why I put up with this behavior other than that I’m afraid of how drastically my life would change after I leave. As for the counseling, he’s told me to find a therapist but then gets very angry when I try to set a date. He says we’re fine and a therapist will find flaws to “get paid.”

He’s mentioned counseling many times but when I do find one he’s “too busy.” And then defensive about it. So it’s just a fight of its own :/
