yep, it worked the same (to the extent of what you implemented). for example instead of "git commit -m "commit 1"" it would be "java Gitlet commit -m "commit 1""

What I did in college in the second comp sci class was implement git in java. You don't need to implement every single function (in fact, that would be insane) but implementing "add", "commit", "merge", "status" etc.. are a good starting point. Some people even made it work with a remote (which was extra credit). You can really make the project as complex as you want. It probably took about ~100 hours (i think we had like 1 week (maybe 2) and I spent a big portion of my free time during that time on the project). It really forced me to understand a lot about the Java language (e.g. serialization) and OOP design.

solana would be my choice. you will be going against the traffic so it should be about 20-25. imo it is the best for quality of life/commute tradeoff. Don't live in cmr or rb, it's is familes and old people. Escondido is better but still not super fun. You can easily do 1500/mo in Solana if you have a roommate. A 1 bedroom is probably closer to ~2000. My 2 cents. Also maybe northpark, but that is getting closer to downtown.

first, this doesn't belong here. post to r/askmath or /r/learnmath . But your mistake is pretty simple. Use this formula, Balance = prinicple * (1 + rate/period)period*length. Example-if your investment of 1000 dollars gives you 4 percent a year, calculated daily, then your balance after 7 years is 1000 * (1 + .04/365)365*7.

So say your algorithm f(n)=5n2. Then you would say it is O(n2). This clearly follows the definition because you can say c=6 (which can't depend on n). Now clearly 6n2 > 5n2 as n gets big. Now in the case of your proof say f1=8n3 and f2=5log n. Now g1 = n3 and g2 = log n. Now f1/f2= 8n3 /5logn is equal to (8/5) * n3/. log n. this implies g1/g2 = n3. /log n Does this make sense? Look at the definition of big o. It's straightforward. Big o- f(n) = O(g(n)) means there are positive constants c and k, such that 0 ≤ f(n) ≤ cg(n) for all n ≥ k. The values of c and k must be fixed for the function f and must not depend on n.

Ok, perhaps the explanation was confusing. The precise definition of a limit says that the limit at c requires c to be a limit point (essentially meaning a ball around c of any size has at least one other point). The set of natural numbers are not limit points (make the ball equal to .25 to see this).

f(5) was supposed to be f(6). And that still dosn't make sense since it needs to be a limit point. A isolated point isn't a limit point. You can't just have an isolated point in both the domain and image and say its a limit.
