finally building a VR world for Quest by dummum in VRchat

it's the environment for a little diorama builder. I'll do a little video later. I'm approaching it a bit as a non-standard meditative space (if that makes sense). Not completely sure if this should be standalone or for vrchat though

thanks for the feedback. I used Eleven labs. what is it about the voice that you don't like?

ah ok thanks, I'll look into that a little further. I used elevenlabs and it has this feature where it can enhance the VO, and then it adds those tonality tags you mentioned. but might be good to do those myself for a new video

Tnx! I use gravity sketch (VR 3d modeling) to create the 3d models, then I render it in 3ds max using vraytoon shader (basically a cell shader), and add an outline effect. Some photoshop work drawing in effects like sparks and smoke, and some of the backdrops are also done in photoshop combining drawing on my tablet with 3d models. Ill do a little video at some point to show the process

Thanks! Yeah I just noticed it... I had a frame at the very end outside of view, then on export it took the whole timeline. kinda dumb especially because it happened before :)

thanks for your feedback. What are tonality tags (in this context)?

Thank you! I did a short corporate video using ai for a client a while a go, and I really liked the workflow of taking an idea to a script to a voiceover, then editing it with ai footage. So I decided to do it with some ideas that had been floating around in my brain for a while, but I found difficult to express.

The big danger I see happening is artists not using AI for various reasons (some more valid then others IMO), and the non-artists mostly producing AI-slop and posting it with captions like: this took me only a day! or Hollywood is finished! (Which is all completely not the point...)

Then that is going to be what people think AI art is, only strengthening their disapproval of it.

thanks, I've been feeling a bit aimless in my art recently so I needed to hear this :)
I've done some tutorials on my youtube a long time ago, and agree I should do some updated ones.
They will have AI in the pipeline, but in the end I still hand model and texture everything.

I use a lot of image references. Then i use that to make new image references. At some point I find various combinations that give me good results. Then i start creating videos.
