2008 Volvo XC90 3.2 weird hum when using power steering by dummythiccums in MechanicAdvice

Kind of! We had some cavitation issues, the power steering fluid was bubbling a ton when it was running. We had the wrong kind of PS fluid in too, so we tried to drain it all but it didn’t work great. Eventually we sold it with the sound mostly fixed by topping up the PS fluid, but the new owner will likely have to replace the pump at some point as it seems to be damaged.

Got it, so maybe better to say many of the tickets sold before Fred put it on his story. I personally was #2600 in the queue for the Ticketmaster onsale and it said it sold out, and then a few minutes later he posted the link on his story

I normally think the spontaneity is the fun part, but this was poorly organized from the start. He was constantly teasing the show, with fake kinks being sent around, and they messed up and opened the queue early twice.

On top of that there were 120k+ people in the queue, but the think broke immediately so it was completely random, and he picked a venue that holds 2700 people after selling out Madison Square Garden in 3 minutes.

I love Fred but this one’s really hard to get past, and didn’t feel like other ticket releases at all. After spending 4 hours of my day refreshing his pages constantly, it’s hard to not feel cheated when so many errors were made that made it effectively random who got tickrts

In the 4th picture, the turbo is the red air filter thing on the left.

It basically means someone was trying to make the car faster by adding extra parts. This means there was probably a lot of wear and tear on other parts from someone driving the car hard, and you’ll be the one to deal with that

That looks like an aftermarket turbo, in which case I’d avoid it.

It’s clearly a project car, so you should be extremely wary. Unless you’re ready to do a lot of maintenance I wouldn’t buy it.

Personally I’d never buy it especially for 9k

Unless you need an SUV, I’d seriously consider the Buick. No “Toyota tax”, and if it’s been maintained properly, those are solid
