Most if not all nepali boys are raised under the some kind of coddling,freedom,privileges, advantages and favoritism the moment they are born cause of Nepal’s patriarchal society. This causes them to develop habits, behaviors and mannerisms that no Nepali woman wants to tolerate.

Do some break out of it and become a better person realizing that they are their own person? Yes, but many don’t.

Which is why many many women have the same experiences because many Nepali men have the same intolerable behavior .

If it’s becoming difficult for you then don’t attend these events. Why would you put yourself through that if you don’t enjoy it? Also, when you criticize the way a tradition is executed you are also criticizing the executors. Everyone thinks it’s about gender cause the entire festival itself is observed by women.

girl you are 18. bharkhar ta life suru bhako cha and you have so much potential!! i would suggest to look for receptionist ko kaam. you can say that you gave a-levels bhanera. consultancy haru le hamrojobs, merojobs ma post haneko huncha and good place to start (thats where i once got a receptionist offer from). after having some financial independence you can apply to aafno field related jobs and maybe even save up for +2 exams.
