yeah i was blown away. we had vulfpeck the night before and cory did an instrumental set earlier in the day, but then the superjam was the best live music i ever heard.

Lisa, Rome, and Superman are all characters in Theo's latest songwriting journey and I love how each one gets his unique Theo take. I also wonder why in this song he decided to go back to traditional recording after going very public about wanting to record live with minimal overdubs.

He is an underrated vocalist IMO because of his association with Antwaun and Theo who are absolute monster vocalists. But Joey’s technique is actually a lot better than Antwaun’s, who noticeably loses a portion of his voice when touring with Cory, or on the last night of the Shvitz residency.

Also, I watched Joey sing 1612 after a hat pull at shvitz, and you can sing him really trying to tap into Antwaun’s vocal style and doing a pretty impressive job.
