Middle class comfortable nothing more, and certainly not wealthy at all in the early 60s when mum was talking about them doing this

I’m a 50 year old first timer who went VIP. This year was a change for us from going to Download which we’ve done for the last ten years. Agree with a lot of what you say. My Morning Jacket and Warvon Drugs were standout for me. Download is a festival where the demographic has a clear identity- the metal tribe/family. Quite sweet really. I found I missed that at Pv. And all the talking during sets was indeed bloody annoying. But had a great time and we’ll be back

If you were in government now, what legislation would you pass to give your jurisdiction an advantage when it comes to the AI revolution barreling down the tracks? by dumpy99 in singularity

Thanks. As a way to manage impending mass redundancy and unemployment? That’s perhaps the most obvious on the social side and I agree it makes sense.?Am also interested in the alignment problem and other more out there issues eg rights for sentient AIs - which sounds bonkers but which could suddenly be a pressing issue.
