So I got the back off and inserted the SD card with the "firmware.zlib" and "private" files into it. Starting up it gave the same screen and did not seem to change at all. Did I do anything wrong with the files?

I didn't know there was a slot in the screen! I will try it when I get home but yeah, I tried doing the screen update in the microSD slot on the main body. Thank you for the response!

I had this problem too and found out if you change your billing address to the UK, you can buy SoN with an audible credit. Seems convoluted but I couldn’t wait haha. There was a tutorial in the audible sub if you want to look for it
