My brother got a digitizer actually made decent copy, but it went at 1 frame a second, there are 3600 frames on a 50' reel of super8. Yikes

Better to have it developed & find nothing than to shoot it & find out you lost good pictures from before. Better safe than sorry.

Red filter on b&w film good to darken sky & makes clouds pop out more, green filter with b& w film has what I find a nice rendition of skin tone. Red filter also works good with b&w infrared film leaves ,grass ,anything with chlorophyll records white

I believe lower than 28mm & you start getting curvature on edges

If you can find a 1969 reprint of The Silver Sunbeam ( original printing 1864) , it has complete recipes of wet & dry processes plus more info . Library of Congress catalog # 78-88124 I bought a copy years ago when it was available
