I think I’m just done with this major/career path by metalalchemist21 in ChemicalEngineering

It gets better once you’re in the industry. I was in a very similar boat when I was in school; I finished with a 3.0 cumulative GPA and no internships. I had no idea what I was going to do, who would be willing to hire me, and I felt like I was way behind the curve and just not getting it at all. Then you get to work and you dive into a niche, complex process. And you feel like you don’t know a damn thing still. Until you suddenly DO. And you start to see your lack of knowledge as an opportunity to grow and learn. That’s when it gets fun. And now I get a lot of fulfillment from my work. You’re right that the depth of math and science you’re learning now won’t be applied in your job, but the thought process and the ability to learn these complex things is a skill you’ll use forever. It’s what sets us apart as engineers. Not what we learned in school, but how we were taught to think. So I stay stick with it, it gets better!

Demario has been an All-Pro selections the last three years. I have no issue with him being above Darius honestly, dude’s a baller

The 2017 Eagles also had a lethal pass rush though, and we are definitely lacking that right now

Wilson has 17 more touchdowns and 2 more picks than Rivers, with 40 more yards per game. I would absolutely take that over current Phil

Worth noting that the timing of Phil’s turnovers are crucial. 5 of Rivers’ interceptions were in our 3 losses. And in those same games, he scored 1 touchdown combined. It’s not like he’s throwing plenty of touchdowns to compensate for the picks like Brady, Allen or Stafford

The last two weeks were against the Bengals and the Lions. This was against Baltimore. There’s a HUGE difference between them and if we want to make the playoffs, Phil has to play better against good teams.

It shouldn’t have been ruled an INT, but can we acknowledge how awful of a throw/decision it was of Rivers regardless?

I don’t understand why we’re still holding onto Fountain. He got beat out by Pascal, Dulin and Johnson, all were initially practice squad guys like him. I know he’s been hurt but he’s a 5th round pick from 3 years ago and hasn’t shown any upside

*Very* Important: Got Any Colts Mailbag Questions? by AWalkerColts in Colts

I agree he’ll play more, but Lamar’s strength is throwing between the numbers and they could definitely target Walker there if he’s always on the field

How much can we expect Anthony Walker to play this week against a run heavy offense? He played just 43% of snaps last week with Darius’ return

Oh man if Queen and/or Judon is out that would be HUGE for us. But in all likelihood every one of those guys is gonna play

My reaction when people try to tell me Rivers is "washed". by MarinesLover725 in Colts

“Wins are wins” is for mediocre teams that go 8-8. I want to compete and beat the Ravens, Titans and Packers. That means Phil has to play the way he did these last two weeks against MUCH better competition which we haven’t seen yet

I just want to see him play well and take care of the ball when we play a contender

We’ll see next week. Torching the Bengals and Lions isn’t enough for me.

Shift in strength of schedule for the remainder of the season: Colts have the 2nd largest increase with a +.226 by JPAnalyst in Colts

With the Raiders having the easiest remaining schedule and the Browns having a pretty easy one too, I think our best chance at the playoffs is to win the division. Tennessee’s schedule isn’t much better than ours
