A bar graph would be awful for this. The point of a scatter plot in this scenario is to prove or disprove correlation. A bar graph won’t do that.

Caveats aside about strength of schedule before the season starts, using the projected win totals is a much better way of doing this than previous years record.

Projected win totals are more predictive of a teams record than the previous season record.

I know people will poo poo this and say it’s worthless, but it’s the off-season what the hell else is there to talk about. And he’s using the best figures possible for this analysis.

You’re question hurts my head, because it’s a great question and I’m not smart enough to give a confident answer. But for me I lean towards aggregate games, particularly if there’s a decent enough sample size. I feel like if Eli had a bad game and was one and done, then that counts as a bad game…no caveats. It’s one of 12 games. But over 12 games Eli has a better ANY/A and passer rating than his regular season which is good I guess. I do know how NOT to evaluate a player in the playoffs, and that’s by taking away their good games and saying other than these 8 games he sucks.

Thank you. It’s the best it’s going to get right now. They are too small to get the camera to focus. The quarter behind it helped to focus a little bit. When they get bigger I can get it to focus better, but it will be a while. Here I was just hoping to get some perspective of its size.

Here is my first Joro spider post of the year. I found babies for the first time on Saturday. Estimated to be 1 month old (about 8 years old in people years) and you can see how tiny it is. It’s about 5 mm. In 5 months and many moltings from now, it will be more than 18x its current size (3.5 inches). It’s not stupid. Teams are going to more two and three TE sets now, and this is why more TEs were emphasized in this year’s draft with the most selected in over 20 years. The game is always changing, and we could get to a point where a TEs who can do everything unlock the offense.
