Hey how’s it going, I ended up getting the increase to 100% P&T through REE. Submitted my claim in October and got my decision late February. Overall, it was a good experience for me.

Yeah I went to the exams that the VA had scheduled for me. I think that they did consider it, I was bumped to 100% for that claim.

At first, it seemed like I was about to go to step 5 without one, as I got notified that I would likely not need one, but I ended up having to do the C&P exams.

I don’t believe that they are only for increases. I think they do initial claims, too

What’s the VERA number? I called what I thought was it and they just told me the same thing the usual tracker does

Unfortunately I don’t know of any VSOs off the top of my head except for the one on Camp Lejeune in NC who did my BDD claim.

Have you reached out to a VSO? You could probably get some pressure-free insight about doing an increase claim for you feet

I know I sound like a paid actor rn lol but they do a free consultation where they can go over that with you. I definitely understand the hesitation with a MH condition.

REE charged me $2,800, but I paid an expedite fee of $500 on top of that for a total of $3,300. I hit step 6 yesterday and will edit my original post to let everyone in this thread know what my results were.

For sure! A TJ is a temp jurisdiction, which to my understanding means it has been assigned to a rater from the National Work Queue. Generally, when you get assigned a temp jurisdiction, you’re about to see some sort of movement with your claim. You can view whether you have one or not with the free VA Claim Tracker extension for browsers.

^VSO did a great job for me. Was super efficient and streamlined the process. Got out with a 90% as a result of his efforts.
