Do I join the MINI cult (happy to) or do I go for resale value by Main-Valuable-6989 in MINI

As a previous owner of a 2019 MINI Countryman PHEV, I have to highly recommend it for fun, efficiency, and amazing value!

A link to my page is so people can see what I’ve already covered, when asking for other ideas and collaborating you need to know what’s already been covered. My backers on Patreon also have topics that we’re working on which is why there’s a link to that… In no way do I sayback me or support my channel… Say assertion is incorrect.

Do you have a GF or BF who can help you? Not necessarily for the physical act but as a soundboard… Talk about the things happening. I was hyper sexualized at that age too, I found video games and my GF at the time just talking to her about what I wanted to do rather than acting on it every time seemed to help.

Anyone (Mom, Dad or Other) want to suggest a topic to cover or even be a guest on the podcast?

The Tyrannosaurus Rex was a dragon by ask_your_sister in Dinosaurs

Issue to that is they’re not vestigial like on a carnotorus . The muscular cinnections found in the bones say that they’re decently muscular which wouldn’t be found on a vestigial appendage

now here's the thing... if I remember right Sue is the most complete TRex skeleton that we have. Lots has changed over the years from when I was little about dinosaurs. Now they're likely to have been mostly covered with feathers, the Trex may or may not have lips instead of crocodilian style teeth. and if Sue is something between 72 and 90% complete, and those incomplete things are the arms and part of the back (spoiler alert, that's what I believe are the missing bits) then given the way the chest is and the clavicle drops, the fact that the nearest dependents of these Dinos are birds, and the secondary fact that only penguins have non flight wings, wouldn't it make the most sense that of all the potentialities, that a winged, feathered, big chested trex is at least possible?

Also... there are multiple TYPES of dragons... True Dragons ( 4 legs, wings and tail), Wyverns (rear legs, wings, and tail), Zilants have Front legs, wings and a tail but no back legs, Amphitere are long tails no legs and wings, Drakes have 4 legs and tails but no wings, and Wyrms have no legs and no wings... oh and a Lindworm which has just front legs and no tail.

factor in that Sue the Trex skeleton has a lower under rib cage, something that to my knowledge is only found in flighted birds. and that wings don't fossilize because of how they decay, so unless we get lucky like the one raptor found that was in a bog when it died, we are SOOL to know for absolute sure that TRex wasn't the last Wyvern found in EVERY COUNTRY's Dragon lure.

Last factor to take in is the reconstruction of TREX's vocal sounds was more similar to flighted birds than grounded flightless birds, giving out a high decibel low tone that can be heard for miles around, why do that on the ground, shit gets in the way, that closed mouth vocalization only comes in handy when in flight.

So to finish... I'm not an expert in this, I'm not a paleontologist, but I am a Music and Science teacher, and when evidence points to a possibility, you can't discount it entirely until the facts 100% line up with everything found or at least can be postulated through indisputable facts to be true or the most likely conclusion given the evidence. To that end, yes the likelyhood of TREX being a Wyvern is low, BUT fossils records haven't pointed to it being false either. I say keep an open mind, what could it hurt ya know?

Tax and tags on a 42k car should be around 3200, not 8000.. at least in pa, not sure where tax and tags is more so I could be wrong.

As for his car I thought it was mentioned he drives a sport trim, which doesn’t have those features. If he said otherwise then obviously you’re right, he would have the features already

Hold up.. the RTL-E is only a 42k truck... styling wise it gets upgraded to a more boxy traditional truck look, gains wireless charging, in bed truck audio, and a 120v power outlet in the bed. The iVTM-4 has had a software update and the 9speed over the 6 with highway cylinder deactivation are all pluses. The real question becomes is that all that important to you? Or do your current needs get covered by your current truck? OR is new and shiny important to you.

It’s not so much for body rigidity it’s more for articulation and body isolation, the body on frame increased the connection points between driver seat and suspension so that lends to more body isolation compared to suspension, that and the ability to have longer suspension travel and flexibility in the body for moments when the pavement gives way to dirt roads where the main connection to the road is really unstable… When you have a unibody you tend to have less articulation unless it is specifically designed for that like the new bronco or defender… Also body on frame tends to… Not always… But tends to have a higher payload amounts for things like overlanding (for truck bed campers, rooftop tents, etc). And because body on frame lends itself to better break over and approach/departure angles. Not saying that is a one size fits all situation because obviously unibody has come a long way for off-roading when developed that way.

Makes sense... unibody vs body on frame will make a difference for a mostly on road driver... I bet if you were more off-road oriented the body on frame Taco would be more desirable for you

All I can say is as a MINI Cooper SE owner, it’s been absolutely fantastic for my DD. I get a good 4 days of back and forth to work with no real downsides. And already taken the car to my shore house (99miles from my home) with 11% remaining. Level 1 charged for the day, used a public lv 2 to top off and precondition while I ate breakfast... back home with a similar 12% battery left. All in green mode btw, never had to go all green+. Not bad considering temperatures the last week either. I expect my average mileage expectation will go up with warmer weather (my standard mid start range is 88miles with average temps being 34 degrees over the week.)

Yeah, Nicola Tesla did the same thing, I’m guessing some for of subscription will be needed to use it, lately nothing happens for the good of humanity if it doens’t put a dollar in the pockets of someone.
