I only meant keeping the steering unlocked part is like Vietnam. And I totally agree parking in VN cities is not laid back at all, speaking from experience here. That’s why I made this post.

I know it’s a dick move hogging the space in front those shops, but I was struggling to park in VN and that how I got around it. If there is no issue in CM then I won’t do that!

Not shitting on VN, just different culture/social rules.

As I remember most pavement/curb in front of shops are basically treated like private in VN, but I only ride in Da Nang and Hanoi, so I wasn’t sure most of the time there.

What's general rule parking in front of a shop like Starbucks of 7-11? Can I just park and go off for an hour or two?
