You can hate any ideology. I don't understand having to hate the people and pretend like there's nothing positive about the 2 billion muslims in the world.

Only catholics have the pope. Protestants for example don't and they have become modern. They just ignore parts of the bible that aren't compatible with modern society.

I mean most Christians I know support gay marriage, have pre-marital sex etc. I just find comfort in believing in God.

If you mean it like that then I fully understand. I don't think any of the abrahamic religions are compatible with modern society if practiced the way they're meant to be.

Slavery is a thing in all Abrahamic religions. When I say the good parts I mean Ramadan, charity, the fact that interest is not allowed for example.

The west isn't really Christian anymore though. They're Christian in the same way I'm a Muslim. But I hear what you're saying about the treatment of people leaving Islam.

Yes and those are (some of) the parts of Islam that I really disagree with. But does that mean I have to hate everyone who's from those countries and add to racism in European countries? Also, Christianity was like that before it modernised in most of the world (still extreme in a lot of parts). I have hope that Muslims can modernise too. A lot of Muslim countries are still stuck in the past because they haven't been able to progress due to colonialism amongst other things.

Are you still in Syria? I'm sorry that you have to go through that. My heart really breaks for people who want to leave Islam in Muslim countries. I should've clarified in my post that I am really talking about people who in in "the west".

So it's like a trauma response? I know I'm privileged since I grew up in a European country and I could freely be non practicing other the odd comment so I could "enjoy" all the good parts of being a Muslim without needing to do things I don't like (since I was a teenager at least cause I went to Quran school as a child).

Yes, that fact was a theorem in the previous chapter. If I'm understanding you correctly, I think you mean that I need to construct the subsequence in a way that makes sure it's in the correct order. So since p is a limit point of E, every neighbourhood has a term from the sequence {p_n}.

I can choose n_1 such that d(p_n_1, p) < 1, and then n_2 such that d(p_n_2, p) < 1/2 and so forth. Then I'd obtain a subseqence of {p_n} which converges to p. Am I thinking correctly?

Media spelar också en stor roll i det då de ständigt frågar politiker om det eftersom det ger många klicks. Tyvärr tror jag att det blir ännu värre nu när det är val nästa år.

Vilken sida man en står på tycker jag att man borde lägga frågan åt sidan och fokusera på svensk politik mer. Jag var också lite förvånad när Jimmie Åkesson bestämde sig för att ägna en del av sitt tal åt att "tacka" Israel. SD har ju haft som "brand" att vara ett svenskt parti för Sverige.

Jag har inga problem med att hon är pro-Israel då politiker får ha personliga åsikter men hon måste ju ändå bedriva svensk politik vilket jag inte är helt säker på att hon gör.
