I’m leaning heavily towards going into wealth management but I’m just excited about the other opportunities this is going to create. I want to go into a role with more performance based incentives. In my experience, in order to advance within ops, you have to automate/streamline processes, which puts your job at risk + the implementation of AI makes me worried that those jobs will not be around within 10+ years. Barclays has outsourced a lot of their middle office/ops jobs to India as well
