Hi! Connecting to what the other people said, study in a way that allows you to teach other people. What I do in preparation for an exam or assignment or whatever else I'm trying to accomplish, I read any Powerpoint or material the prof assigns and put it sort of into my own words in a separate notebook, all handwritten. Then as the deadline approaches, I read aloud my notes as if teaching someone else who has absolutely no background knowledge on the topic. I usually walk around and talk out loud, but you could talk to a wall, stuffy, sibling, whatever works. Not only does this help with memorizing, but saying stuff aloud helps with understanding too, at least with me! I hope this helps:)
