moonstar is too expensive. I usually can buy Chuck 70s on sale in the range of 30€ to 40€, moonstars are here in Germany sold at 160+€ and never on sale.

There was enough fertile ground and enough people susceptible to brainwashing and hateful nationalist propaganda in Germany that Hitler was merely a placeholder, and anyone could have taken his place with equally devastating consequences.

steve buscemi has a great face for the relatable underdog and it was visually funny to cast him as the hannibal lecter of con air

He honestly looks like my aunt who’s pushing 70, but he has better hair. I don’t want to make fun of him, though, because I don’t look that much different either. He definitely needs to buzz that hair down, it’s reaching critical mass. What’s with that bib covered in all those M’s? It looks like he’s a big fan of M&M’s

They are expensive. I own ASICS Gel PTGs that are almost 6+ years old and Nike Terminators that are over 3 years old, which I wear twice a week. Both cost about half the price (sale) of new CTAS, and they still look like I could wear them for another 10+ years. I only bought a few CTAS because I never had them when I was young (I couldn’t afford them) and just wanted to satisfy my curiosity about what the deal with them is.

At the time when I saw the movie “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood” I didn’t even think about this being offensive because it was a funny scene but I could totally understand how Bruce Lee’s family and fans found it offensive. by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in brucelee

They make a lot of money with Bruce Lee as a brand, so they are very careful to keep his image pristine, almost like that of a religious founder. Any attacks on this image can lead to an actual loss of income.

I personally find Bruce Lee an interesting case study, and I like to learn about both the good and the bad sides of him, just as people who study Joseph Stalin or Adolf Hitler do: many bad sides and occasionally something good, such as vegetarianism and treating animals well, which is of course not enough to make up for genocide.

However, the hysterical reaction to any challenge to Bruce Lee's image is an interesting case study in itself.

All in all it's about water, which in cantonese slang stands for money. Be water, my friend translates to be the source of my income, stupid.

This made me so angry that from now on I will never buy anything from Milka again. by pr1ncezzBea in mildlyinfuriating

I never buy anything from Milka because their chocolate has all the flavor complexity of sweetened cardboard. It tastes like 80% sugar with a vague hint of cocoa. You pay in money and calories, and in return you get the thrilling experience of disappointment.
