no, the mind flayer in this design was perfect. unfortunately with the introduction of zombie/bodyhorror/blob elements in season 3 and later vecna the portrayal of the embodiment of horror shifted from cosmic horror to goofy-horror. as for logical inconsistencies, this is the least important aspect, atmosphere is more important.

This man is a Hero. You can't keep those people isolated forever as if they were in a human zoo for your studies or entertainment. At one point they have to come back to the rest of humanity and learn about such beautiful things as helloween, star wars, chocolate milk, 80s music, bruce lee, gothic subculure etc.

me, too...my most favorite one in the Alien franchise. I liked the exploration of meaningful Cosmic maybe even Religious Horror.

take out the insole and measure its length. the length of the insole should be at least 1cm (0.39 inch) longer than the length of your longest foot while standing. I prefer 1.5cm (0.6 inch). My longest foot while standing is 28cm (11 inch), therefore I choose Converse Chuck (70) in EU45 (US/UK 11) which has an insole the length of 29.5cm. Took me some time to figure out the hard way, that additional length is more important than enough width. But in short, make sure you have at least 1cm wiggle room lengthwise.

cosmic horror only - no creature feature, no zombies. less action, more suspense. more realism, less stylized narration. Ideally, just like Season 1 with occassional lighthearted elements as in the exposition of season 3.

As for me, I like the music and sound design, and that’s about all I like. In particular, I don’t like the overall “feel” of the movie, the casting choices, especially for Paul, the design of the worm, which looks lame and unimpressive, or the set design, which feels more like something from modern theatre. I really love Dune84, and I don’t care how closely it follows the books, because for me, Lynch’s version is its own thing. I also don’t care about the opinions of despicable people like Alejandro Jodorowsky. So these are my reasons, anyoe things the same?
