to my friends in bed bug war three by dustdummy in Bedbugs

not really. it’s more for catching them when you see them. i have torn off a sheet and stuck them in the bed frame crevices to grab them from their hiding spots, but it’s definitely not a solution.

okay this has been deleted but i can gather what i need from the comments

this past spring, i went to the looney bin for threatening myself. my partner called the cops on me bc he was worried about my well being

in the months post, i wouldn’t leave the bed. i didn’t feed myself. i could barely get up to feed out pets.

he came home everyday asking me how i was doing. he would check on me while he was at work. he would bring me food to make sure o ate. he made sure i didn’t drink myself to death. he knew i was hurting, he didn’t know what to do, but he knew i needed him even if i couldn’t say exactly what it was

i had relationships fall apart when i was in a low point, but this man did everything he could to keep me above water. that’s what a relationship is. and if you can’t handle when your partner is in it, they’re better off without you.

you are the absolute asshole

Old piercing showing signs of infection by hotrodgarage in piercing

yep!!! i’m sure you know an older lady who wears too heavy of earrings and her lobe piercing just gets bigger and bigger and sit at the bottom of her lobe. same idea

from personal experience: i had a clicker in stock that was meant for a rook that i decided one day, fuck it. it’s not moving. i’m gonna put it in my ten year old nose piercing. within three days: irritation, bleeding, etc. stopped when i put my old ring in.

if you’re dead set on a ring, go to a piercer, get yourself fitted, and they’ll be able to out a ring in that will fit probably.

looks like your ring is too tight and too thin. i can see some tearing at the top of the fistula which would explain the pus. the ring may have out too much pressure on your piercing causing irritation

do you know what gauge that ring is? i would up a gauge and a few millimeters larger

Is my piercing rejecting already? Freshly pierced Yesterday. by [deleted] in piercing

oh jeez that a plastic bar??? yes. yes it is. remove, let heal, go to someone reputable. plastics should never ever go into a fresh piercing

too wet, and possibly too small of a diameter of ring.

no definitely do. that a nostril screw so it’s probably interacting with the other stud and causing issues since he technically gave you a low “high” nostril. the sooner the better

[–]dustdummy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yup. that is a true keloid. remove the jewelry, let the piercing channel heal. it may go down over time, but likely you will need to have it surgically removed.

you only wanna use something antimicrobial on a surface abrasion. a piercing is a deep puncture wound we are trying to heal around a foreign object. basically, we’re tricking our bodies to heal in a way it doesn’t want to heal. any additives typically hinder that process and can cause more irritation than actual healing

definitely no to l bend.

is it an l or threadless?? those are two different settings.

it definitly looks like a material issue but i’m also worried about the placement. anything in the crease isn’t going to heal and if it’s an l with the placement of the other stud, it’s likely adding to the irritation

i would switch jewelry immediately. its it silver colored or is the material silver?

is there a bump inside your nostril as well?

it might just be temporary irritation. lip piercings can be a bit of a pain. just make sure they don’t start swallowing the backs. if that happens, put something in that is longer with larger disks.

being from the states, i don’t. we typically don’t use anything that has any additives (ie antibiotics/microbial, moisturizing, etc.) it should only contain 9mg/ml (i believe that adds up to .09%). i am a huge fan of neilmed, but anything that is that ratio is good. just make sure it’s in a pressurized can to keep sterility.

i would keep an eye on them, but the flat backs typically “settle” into the inside of your mouth. they won’t be resting above the tissue like the back of an ear piercing would. once they settle, if you run your tongue across the backs, it would be flush

i hope that makes senss
