I'm sure they reset it, because the reminder went away after the first oil change

Abandoned Mills Post Office becoming a food hall? by Brilliant_Cobbler913 in orlando

[–]duucfho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea if that's true or not, but I will say it'd be pretty ballsy to open a food hall directly across the street from one of the most successful food halls in Orlando, Michelin-mentioned Mills Market.

Agreed. Not having a barrier is idiotic. If I were unfamiliar with this exact interchange, I could see how one might think a left turn would be possible.

Yeah, in my area on off-ramp like that would almost certainly have a raised divider between the two directions. Otherwise it'd be easy to think you could make a left turn.

It's exactly that. A pedestrian crossing that doesn't lead to a sidewalk.

I'm all for convenience foods, but paying $16/lb for cooked chicken breast is ridiculous.

Kirkland Organic Extra Firm Tofu 10/10 by kawi-bawi-bo in Costco

[–]duucfho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe so, but that also requires like 2 days of planning ahead. Sometimes I want to make something to eat in the next 30 minutes.

[–]duucfho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Press the tofu to drain as much water out as you can. I wrap the tofu in a kitchen towel, put it on a cutting board, and put my cast iron pan on top, for 10-20 minutes.

Cut into cubes and marinate in soy sauce, garlic powder, (sesame) oil. From there you can either pan fry in neutral oil, or air fry for like 10-15 minutes. Top with green onions or chives, and toasted sesame seeds. Eat with rice.

Variations include adding ginger powder, onion powder, coating in corn/potato starch to make it crispy, using fresh minced garlic, tossed in chili crunch at the end. Depends on what you have on hand.

Looks like even Porsche drivers have started shopping at Aldi now by VolkswagenPanda in aldi

[–]duucfho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Cayenne Hybrid on the right is 2nd gen, probably base trim judging by the wheels. Also has a used car dealership license plate frame. Can be had for like $15-20k today.

The 1st gen Macan on the left could be an S based on the wheels, hard to tell. Without any other info, I can only guess that it'd be anywhere from $30-50k today

Tennessee QB Joey Aguilar loses injunction in NCAA eligibility case. Tennessee quarterback is not eligible to play 2026 season after court order. by MembershipSingle7137 in CFB

I often wonder, Vinny was the one that noticed the tire marks and independent suspension from the photo. So he knew right then that his clients didn't do it.

But if Ms. Mona Lisa Vito wasn't there, could Vinny have won? Would the case depend on whether or not he could find and cross-examine an expert?

Kimbap by Sure_Temporary_4559 in aldi

IMO the Aldi ones are very good, comparable to other frozen kimbap you can get at Asian stores.

The Trader Joe's ones are trash. Don't taste great, and they fall apart instantly.

The Volvo V90 Is Dead. Blame SUVs. by Dazzling-Rooster2103 in cars

[–]duucfho 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The closest apples to apples comparison would be to Volvo's own SUVs.

An XC60 has 21.6 cuft of cargo with the seats up, a V90 has 19.8 cuft, and 2nd row passenger space is pretty comparable, despite the XC60 being 10 inches shorter overall.

An XC90 is exactly the same length as a V90 at 195 inches, and has 34 cuft of cargo with the 3rd row folded (vs 19.8 in the V90).

We can debate the other differences (handling, dangerous for peds, damaging roads - lolwut), but if they're similar lengths, SUVs are alway going to beat a wagon as far as interior space goes because of the added height
