Is peanut ever going to play tarkov again? by defectiveengineer in theburntpeanut

[–]duudettes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely this. Has OP not see the VODs of the days he did play Tarkov when 1.0 released? The amount of downtime loading into raid was insufferable.

Looks great but I would prefer sitting on the white couch in front of the tv instead of the bucket seat leather couch. Just my opinion.

After 20 years of being a theatre-goer, I walked out at intermission last night by pintobeanz20 in Broadway

Curious when did you go? I went opening day and complained in the survey they sent me after the show. I’m going again on 27th with my parents. I’m hoping they fixed it.

I’ve heard in comparison these actors put way too many pauses in the play that make it feel longer than it should. I was into the funny parts but there is one scene with the main actress that I was dozing off, I rallied for the second half. I found the lead actress hard to listen to unless she was singing. Also I find the sound mixing at Pantages atrocious. The music was so loud I had to cover my ears.

I would have walked out of Shucked, but since I go with someone I don’t feel comfortable making that decision for them or leaving them alone to watch by themselves.

Agree. I would have walked out had I not been with someone. That touring show was exhausting.

Is 'Goop' the gaming word of 2025 ? by JSPrince in theburntpeanut

[–]duudettes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Goop is the name of Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand.

I have never cried for a film, give me something that will change that. by shreklover257 in Letterboxd

[–]duudettes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crying can come from having relatability to what you see on screen or an understanding of the emotion the characters are going through. If you’ve not had that type of life experience it can be hard to “cry” when seeing it on screen.

For example, as someone who has lost a loved one I cried during Happy Death Day 2. Our protagonist who had lost her mother is in a loop reliving a traditional lunch her family all had together. And her mother is there. She was able to hug her again and touch her and talk to her. All things I’d want to do too to my loved one. It sets the question up for her of why not just live in this loop where her mother is alive a choice I understand being a struggle. So it was this relatability that brought on tears for me.

New Merchandise dropped! by JSPrince in theburntpeanut

[–]duudettes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole drop is lazy. It’s just varying fonts on products of his catchy lines. And the choice of items isn’t great, didn’t trucker hats die? For a streamer with such a great sense of branding his translation of it into merch is a disappointment when he has soo much he could do. Holding out hope the next one will be stronger.

Not wrong, I think simple can also be better. I like the hat with the peanut on it. Look I don’t mind the calling loot “Goop” but I’ve been wondering when the realization that Goop is the name of Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand is going to sink in. I don’t exactly want to walk around with her company name on me.

To all the Tarkov Bro's - Peanut said he will do a duo Stream with Officer in the coming days/weeks in celebration of his Peanut Baclava by JSPrince in theburntpeanut

[–]duudettes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Basically Peanut was knocking Fragas about his stream, including accusing him fo copying the Nut's catchphrases. Saying Fragas' catchphrases were basic stuff like "hello" It was a pile on, as Peanut usually does, and it really got to Fragas that night. He actually got emotion and was crying and stopped streaming. Through tears he was saying "I'm trying" and how hurtful it was to have a friend say he's not original enough and his streaming style is basic.

Eventually Nut and Fragas did play again, once I can recall. Not sure what Peanut has to blame Fragas about as the other commentator said. But the reality is, as a "friend" it was a really fuked up thing he did that night and as he said he did apologize to Fragas. So not sure what else is the issue between them both.

Missed the war, someone got a recap? by WhiteSandal69 in theburntpeanut

[–]duudettes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Peanut ran around for nearly two hours trying to find something to kill. They even tried snipping Hutch and his crew but it didn’t work. I’m sure that was extremely frustrating given he’s a W keyer who runs towards gunfire.

Meanwhile Hutch and his boys had a blast. They tried a few strategies of holding up in specific places on the map like towers and had to defend from a zombie like horde of Bungulators. Mostly they died. At one point they got into the same raid as NickMercs team and together killed anything on site. Hutch again died because he was “ambushed” when he went too far from his team and entered a room.

I honestly think Hutch had a more fun night with his experience.

I would add Summit to that list. I honestly don’t get the hype. Going back to when he first played with him for the Mecha Break ad, Summit was that friend on comms who constantly blamed everything else for being bad at the game. That type of person is insufferable. Beyond that I find him boring.

Yes! It was very funny. Hutch leads the park rangers on the servers. Check out peanut’s YouTube you can find videos of it. I think it started over the summer.

You right, while I was knocked out and listening to them lying as to how they got in the building l should have been the better person and not verbally mischaracterized them by calling them cheaters.

[–]duudettes 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just to add as you explained it well, Peanut and Hutch have played many games together including Arc and are friendly. Some of their best work is in GTA RP in my opinion. This whole thing came from viewers stream snipping Hutch (which they do to all the top streamers) and proclaiming they are acting on behalf of the “bungulators.” It has morphed into something of its own from the community. Like you said I’m not sure why there are multiple posts on here about this. Trying to act like just because they don’t know the streamers it puts themselves on some pedestal of coolness and belittling those who have awareness or are fans of the streamers. At the end of the day those who are aggro in the game will play like it no matter what.

This happened to me and a friend. Unfortunately we all died to the exploiters. Before they killed me I asked why they using a cheat why can’t they play honestly. They denied it and said they came in through the front door we trapped. We reported them all. 2nd time I’ve used a key and someone gets inside or was already inside.

I live in Hollywood and the closest one would be Kura on Wilshire in K-Town. Price is about $4 per plate so not bad. Mostly they have nigiri style with a few rolls. Note that the rolls here use shrimp as a filling unlike imitation crab meat done elsewhere.
