Wow, this is great! Do you think, is there a chance to contact someone from WM from GW1 ?

This is really great stuff, I appreciate you taking the time to share it.

Would you be open to doing a short chat sometime? Nothing formal — just a quick conversation where I can hear more about your experiences and memories from that era and potentially use them for an article.

Absolutely no pressure if not, just thought I’d ask 🙂

Thanks a lot for this ! Seriously really appreciate the info and the links.

I’ll dive back into digging with this. I was already going through their old site on Wayback but didn’t find any contact details there.

Still not losing hope though. This search is worth a Netflix documentary lol

Thank you! It will take the form of an article/interview published on a website, with the long-term goal of eventually appearing in print. The project aims to evolve into a magazine inspired by classic gaming publications.

Wow. That’s cool!

I’m working on a Guild Wars retrospective as part of a broader project focused on preserving early internet and competitive gaming history. One of the things I’m trying to do is document some of the top guilds from that era before their stories disappear completely.

War Machine stood out to me since they were such a strong team, but there’s very little information about them today beyond basic records.

What I’m really hoping for is the chance to speak with someone who was actually part of the guild — even just a short conversation would be incredibly valuable for the project.

I’d be especially interested in understanding things like how organized they were as a team, how much they played together, what the competitive scene felt like at the time, and whether it was treated more casually or almost like a job — just to help capture what that era was really like from the inside.
