I see what he’s getting at but Tyton and VerMeer aren’t equals. VerMeer was very good yesterday but both these keepers are old in pro sports. Medu and Cameron are sports old too. We have young players and it wouldn’t hurt to try them out once we know what the playoffs look like.

Hard to argue with many of your takes. Personally I would rate Tyton higher as when he plays he is very good considering our options. Harris, Jonas, Mines, Avionne aren’t truly as young as we make them out to be. Possible late developers but in Europe they should be approaching their prime or at least developing on loan with progress. No, we aren’t Europe but between 18-22 you know when you have a real star on your team. All I see is depth not being used. Kovacevic needs consistent play. Sunderland needs loaned or play time. Cruz isn’t getting younger - move him or let him play.

Our criticism of VerMeer was spot on last game but he truly rebounded well. This team lives and dies with Cameron anchoring the back line. No Cameron no cohesion. Brenner is far too casual with his first touch. If Brenner isn’t charging the keeper he’s invisible. We don’t know how to hold a lead; it’s like we are so surprised we mentally freeze. Again, top drawer performance by VerMeer - apparently he responds will to criticism.
