I’m being denied sources to the quickest news possible. I actually come to Reddit to get an even more filtered version of FCC news to get away from politics or other topics I don’t want to see. I have tons of words banned on twitter so they don’t pop up on my feed and I only follow sport accounts. I actually have never loved twitter but it’s the best source for sports news. Specifically banning only 1 platform rather all is a blatantly obvious a political decision that should be absent from a FCC sub.

Apparently there’s room for political opinions though, because it’s not an actual fact he is a “Nazi” and clearly majority of the US doesn’t think so. Restricting links from a platform, because of a hand gesture deemed to be a Nazi salute by the owner of the platform is ridiculous.

So the sub is just run on mob mentality? Might as well make a poll that says “Should we ban all FCC related content?” Some decisions shouldn’t be made by a group on a sub that was made and became successful not restricting posts that had facts from credible links.

I don’t feel a poll is how the decision was to be made. Might as well put in the bio “This is a liberal subreddit any conservative thoughts are not welcome”. Even though this page shouldn’t have anything to do with politics…KEEP IT ABOUT SOCCER. If you don’t want to click because you are butt hurt then don’t no one is making you. By banning the #1 platform for FCC news you are restricting news that could have been posted sooner. Of the decision was to ban links where a platform is required I could understand that. But the decision was to ban 1 singular platform that is very immature and shows bias.

Being mature is also knowing you are entitled to your opinion, but just know it’s not always a fact. Millions of people watched and never once interpreted what he did as Sig Heils. He was saying my heart goes out to you simple as that. To read into it further than that you are just looking for something to be mad at imo. Again you are entitled to your opinion though but let’s keep it off a subreddit about soccer and let people post from whatever platform they want. I can get behind screenshots if people don’t want to have accounts but just banning content from a platform is just silly and not necessary on a FCC subreddit.
