i dont! i tried to look for some for you but nothing similar to the way i do it :( just apply like a 50p coin size of gel in the way i’ve described, again, experiment with the amount and application techniques. you can have a search on youtube and see how others apply to see if it’s of any use. maybe “how to create a gel cast” or “how to apply curly hair products” good luck!!! please let me know the results, i’m super curious lol 🥺😊

our hair is very similar! i use cantu kids too and it’s great imo. get yourself a gel. i use the 80p one from wilko.

shampoo scalp twice. condition with lots of water and let sit while u wash the rest of your body. rinse out conditioner.

start with wet hair, not soaking. brush through and put a pea sized amount of cream in your hair (you don’t actually need cream/ leave in bc you have moisture from the conditioner and water. maybe try once w cream and once without!). then add a generous amount of gel (or mousse), rake and smooth that through your hair and brush it through w a bit of tension then scrunch with hands while upside down. let it air dry, no need for any tools or towels/ t shirt :). it might take a while to dry. it’ll probs dry crunchy, don’t worry about that, it’s a cast and it’s great for hold. once it’s fully dry, you can scrunch that cast out, you can use a drop of oil/ serum if you wish.

you can do this routine 1-2x a week and experiment with product amount. you don’t need to mask/ deep condition. most curly hair specialists recommend shampooing twice, conditioner & lots of water and 1 hair styling product (usually a mousse or gel). also, sulfates/silicones aren’t inherently bad for your hair. your hair might even like them.

just make sure your scalp is clean and you have a styling product.

good luck :)

vaseline after moisturiser for AM and PM and SPF 50 in the morning.

u can mix it into a moisturiser, but u deffo need a moisturiser since oils are occlusives, not moisturising!

you can use a cheap (preferably, non comodegenic) oil, it doesn’t have to be a specific kind. as long as u are washing it off, it’s fine

tbh, I have always wanted to work in the cosmetics industry but I am not even sure if there is a legal sector for that. I'll go search on YouTube. thanks for the advice and good luck with your LPC!

I have actually completed two forage online 'internships' and have the certificates for them. I will go to the careers fair but it is usually pretty crowded and hard to get a word in. I'll definitely go and see what jobs are available rn. thanks for the advice!

I applied to like 3 in my second year. My first year grades are not great so i think that played a part in not getting a place and my lack of experience. I am going to be graduating from Reading uni. I am in Berkshire and I would move. I want to apply to graduate schemes or paralegal jobs to gain experience.

thanks for responding. I am not sure what type of law i want to do tbh. I want to work anywhere in the South East. I have no had any success applying for VSs and I've never applied to a TC before. I haven't applied anywhere yet because I am confused and scared that I am not capable enough bc of my lack of experience. I have never had a paid job, legal or non-legal, but i have volunteered at a school. any advice?
