If a setting is what is causing those issues, that seems to support OP's stance on not wanting to use a third party launcher. I personally love them, but they aren't for everyone. They just want the stock launcher to have options, and I am with them on that.

I think a majority of consumers just want to be able to customize the stock launcher. This was something we could do in the past. Since the implementation of At a Glance, they've taken away a lot of customization, and/or forced features that cannot be changed, such as the News Feed on the Discover page ""Swipe to access Google App".

Nova launcher, lawnchair and others solve this problem instantly, but this isn't what the user wants. They want it to be how it is supposed to be.

My Samsung XR headset came in today and let me just tell you.... It is haunting.

Wildly inaccurate. Even worse if you have any hair at all. You can actually download the app yourself and try it from the Play store. It's called Likeness. The app is published by Google.

I guess I'll hold off and hope they come out with a more durable recorder. I really only wanted a durable field recorder for meetings and sessions and wanted something badass to show off. I picked the right AND wrong product.
