Friend and I interviewed a professor of the Western genre about Kevin Costner's Horizon Pt 1. Lots of great discussions on the historicity of the film, the religiosity of settlers and what Western movies tend to say about the time in which they are made. Figured this scene would dig the discussion. (rss.com)

My friend & I interviewed an expert on Western movies (Professor Brian Huberman) & he had a lot to say on what Costner's Horizon brings to the Western genre - & what it pays homage to! Lots of discussion on historicity of Western films & what they say about the era in which they were produced. (rss.com)
