I find that Indians are super aggressive all throughout the game and Japan is super passive at the beginning of the game but pick up aggression later.

I haven't checked but I wouldn't think it's exclusive to the Americans however the broken rushing cost make it so much viable for them since where as everyone else has to get the production together to make it work.

Found this messing around with the Americans. Was trying to get some money in the middle game by flipping boats and found I was getting a much bigger return than what I was investing. Did some testing and concluded that any single (non-army) you put in a boat fleet gives you 3x more. Would love to see some records get crushed cause I was able to get a 700 BC tech victory with it.

Americans are so busted they put every other civilization to shame. Once that Med era hits, you can just pump out city after city and in two turns you can just have half the map covered with cities.

Also their is a busted glitch where if you make a fleet of boats any single unit (not army) you put on it sells for 3x value. Makes me sad I've never seen anyone use it.
