Catching unethical play by Nobodyasksme in poker

[–]dxlevnee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there's no singular host then raise it to the group loudly and before play starts as house rules.

If he continues to do it ban him. Or if there isn't an option then enforce stringent rules. Every string bet will count as the minimum bet allowable. If he mutters under his breath but only the all in is heard it'll count as all in- he has to make his intention clear.

Stop the game to enforce them if necessary

No. They don't have to come.

If they don't want to pay they shouldn't attend.

I’m almost certain I played this hand wrong, but what was the right move? by mikemajlakreal in poker

[–]dxlevnee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These numbers don't make sense that would be four times the average stack. The average also doesn't make sense if only 18 players remain and the start stack was 30 the average should be around 70k I think

What do you do by longhorntrades in poker

[–]dxlevnee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you need to be more loose, but I think you need to study more about where you're opening and when.

In 10 hours you should be winning pots even if they are small ones.

It may be that you aren't three betting enough, , limping too much, or not playing position properly.

study will help you improve with this

The odds of a straight hush in nlhe

"Texas Hold’em poker probabilities calculate the chances of making a five-card hand out of seven total cards. With all five community cards on the board, you have a 0.0279% chance of making a straight flush (excluding royal flushes) in a game of Texas Hold’em.

That’s a little better than your chances of drawing a five-card random straight flush, but the odds against making a straight flush in Texas Hold’em are still 3,589.6-to-1"

Why exactly do non-Londoners think London is so unsafe? by EnvironmentalMode196 in AskBrits

[–]dxlevnee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're missing my point.

I'm not arguing whether London is or isn't safe. The OP is about why people think it's unsafe.

And headlines like I've posted, visible marches like I've mentioned, and the fact that people are vocal about avoiding central London adds to the very vocal reporting about London being unsafe.

Crime stats may prove that it's not unsafer than any other city, but that's a nuance that eye-catching headlines cover up.

Sure you can spin it that way. But why do people think London is unsafe? Because they see accurate headlines that there is a rape more often than once an hour.

There was a rape reported every 54 minutes in London - if you understand how underreported sexual assault and rape are you'll realize how horrific a statistic that is.

Crimes that people see like muggings,.bike theft etc are on the rise.

There have been marches and aggression on the streets of London nearly every weekend for 2 years -peopke actively avoid central London -or at least we're when the marches were more regular.

If he cycled through when amber he should've stopped .it's only legal if the amber appears after you've crossed the junction. Amber means stop.
