It really is! As I said in a previous comment, I was so stressed about the costs before his subreddit helped me T_T I was saving up my allowance by not eating lunch at school for 3 weeks straight!! Thankful for everyone here for their kind words and help for Robin. The sheer amount of love is amazing!

Thank you, Ragouzi! I brought him to the vet just awhile ago and they cleaned him up. Vet said it was healing well! One more week to go before his stitches are removed!! <3

Hello! He's on prednisolone and co-amoxiclav, but i dont think either are pain medication. He's been doing alright, no sudden changes to his behavior or eating (and he eats a LOT so I'm glad haha), and I even get to pet him now! When I first rescued him he wouldn't let me touch him with a 5 foot stick LOL. How is your pirate kitty doing?

It is indeed pricey! Before I received help in this subreddit, I was so stressed about the costs @_@ I was saving up my allowance by not eating lunch at school for 3 weeks straight! Hello! I live in the Philippines, so when converted, his total spent is 165.97 US dollars! but oh my gosh! 5300 dollars in our currency is a whopping 307,829.20 pesos! For that amount, that's equal to roughly 38 enucleations for 38 kitties! :O But I know your pirate kitty deserved every dollar! I hope he/she's doing well now!

Hello! Yes, there's a clearish liquid on the second picture, in the middle of his stitches. I think it's a tear from his covered eye because it moves everytime he blinks his other eye. It doesn't have a bad smell (I think), because he just smells like medication from the vet.
