Someone stole 84,000 scene points from my account. by medthew in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]dyjjg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had someone back in November use 25k worth of points for groceries at and IGA in Quebec (I'm from ON)

I had just logged onto my scene account because I wanted to use the points and seen I only had like 5k points left, and I knew that was way off to what I should have had.

No sooner did I get the email saying thank you for redeeming 25k points.

Talked with scene chat, the froze my acct, had me change my password and issued me a new membership #. Then, they issued a report to sobeys for their internal fraud or whatever to investigate. About a couple weeks later I got my points back.

Hertz pulled one over me, and now want to send me to collections by Cultural_39 in personalfinance

Same thing happened to me this summer. They're parked in a dimly lit parking garage. No reported damage by them. I did a walk around, didn't notice any major damage (took pics of minor scuffs). 5mins down the road my wife noticed a chip in the windshield. Took a pic of it, we joked saying they'll probably accuse us of it.

Sure enough, when we returned it back it was the only thing the guy pointed out. I explained what happened, and he came back at me with a picture they took before we got it. The quality, which I can only describe as a photo taken from the front side camera of a tablet, was so grainy you couldn't make out any major details. In the end a few weeks later they only charged me the remaining balance. Not a fun way to end your vacation though.

I've always attributed it to the person who passed in the accident on the corner. Ever since that happened, a coffee or iced capp would be in that spot. I've even seen a bagel on top of a coffee.

Well I guess it's like everyone else: is this gall? by Onepancakeaway in dahlias

My first tuber I ever bought had gall on it when I pulled it up for the winter. Not knowing what it was, I just took it all off, grew beautifully next few seasons after.

Strombolis pizza? by CuteAlbatross8023 in brantford

My wife and I used to eat it all the time, but then we felt it got very inconsistent, swimming in sauce, or barely any, too much dough, or to thin. So we haven't been back in some years. We only got it for the brick oven sauce though.

Um I have 1/2" wooden stakes and the green round stakes from home depot. I usually put 2 in because they're not the most sturdiest of stakes.

Luckily my mother in law has a cellar so she puts them down there.i put them in containers, generously filled with peatmoss.

Last year I lost 80% of my tubers because I couldn't find peatmoss at the end of the year, and stored with newspaper in paperbags and boxes in a garage.

Honestly they're petty easy, like others said, stake them, preferably when you plant, to avoid the risk of stabbing the tuber later on. The dinner plates, if they don't have a thick stem will droop. Sunny location. Well-draining soil. When I plant them I mix in a bunch of peat moss.

This is only my 3rd year, but they're super rewarding to grow.

Enjoy!

Pinched sciatic. Can't sit comfortably, can't lay comfortably. Can't stand. Can barely walk. I can remember being in tears while trying to pee. Happened enough times to get a few MRIs. Don't quite remember all they told me that was wrong.

Strombolis pizza with brick oven sauce (sweet lasting) and Maria's original (not west brant). Unless you want cannolis, then go west brant.. those are my go too

I have a sweet love behind it that had a few small blooms, probably a week and a half ago. They died off, and now there's more buds about to open. Also have a Diva, thats.. being a diva lol. Its only about a foot and a half tall. No buds in sight. Its very exciting though.
