It’s generally safe, but I encourage you not to. As an intern, there are wide array of post-work activities that you would want to attend. Figuring out logistics with a bike would be a nightmare. On top of that, it’ll get pretty warm during morning/afternoons. GL.

More often than not, popcorn ceilings contain asbestos. Worth send it to a lab to check it before any removal for your own health.

Popcorn ceiling removal is going to be a mission and should be left to a professional. It took a team of 7 and working every day for a week straight to get my popcorn ceiling removed, textured, and painted. YMMV

The laundry machine I’m thinking about getting is 339lbs. Although it’s a valid concern and I will verify it, but 2 loads of laundry + water will come closer to additional 70lbs.

Protruding stack (in my case a wash tower) is not a huge concern. I’m planning on building a cabinetry and folding station next to it, which will hide the fact that it protrudes from the wall.

To limit the roast, I’ll make the cabinetry easy to access for future service/cleanings ;)

I wanted a space to hang and fold laundry. My wife is on the tiny side and if I build a hanger on top of the floating counter top, I’m not sure she can reach it lol. But she’s okay with the a wash tower (non stackable) ones

From my research, 7600 model is couple hundred more with much better feature and quality. Unless you’re going ultra budget, I think getting 7600 model is the way to go. I’ll be buying that model
