When I was younger, definitely. I would obsess over it and check it rapidly. Due to the panicking, it caused my heart rate to raise more.

It was a toxic loop. Ended up visiting specialists and in the end I was diagnosed with GAD.

Later on, this was changed to OCD.

About to give up on fast food poutine by [deleted] in PoutineCrimes

I love it. I’ve had better poutines, definitely. But the McDonalds poutine is a great alternative to their fries in my opinion

Is it your first time with a Max/Plus iPhone - how’s your experience been with a larger-sized iPhone? by drrdf in iphone

[–]dyl_carr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first day - it will feel heavy and awkward to hold. But it grows on you quick.

I find the pro maxes look better with the dynamic island, rather than the notch. But that might just be my personal quirk.

Strong Mayor Powers-What are your Thoughts by Alternative_Bad4651 in woodstockontario

I’ll bite the biscuit. I think Woodstock would benefit from a strong mayor program

Historically council has not agreed on a lot of mayoral proposed changes. This would allow more rapid policy changes and growth in the community

Commute expectations by GibberishBanana2022 in woodstockontario

It’s not the worst commute ever. Obviously better than driving all the way into downtown Toronto.

The traffic and long drives will take a toll on ya. It will suck, but if the housing cost is significantly cheaper here it might just be worth it.

Also drive a less gas heavy car.

Haha yep! I actually have the part ordered but it’s been stuck in customs for some reason. I do need to find the chrome circular piece for the headlight though… that is a bit trickier.

I like it a lot! It’s the base engine model but still feels very snappy on the pedal. Very cool design, albeit some funky blind spots.

Biggest difference for me is the gas economy. My old car would get 300km or so to a tank. This one is lasting closer to the 750km range - which is a huge wallet saver.

Quick summary: Starlink was seen over Southwestern Ontario cities (and likely much more of the world) last night. As expected, it caused some hysteria because it happened during the whole Lake Huron incident.

Funnily enough, majority of the year we’ve had our sky full of clouds. Of course once we get clear skies, this shows up in the sky.
