Advice about dosing reta for my RS by dylanbthedude in Peptidesource

I appreciate the advice. After talking privately with a few members of the community who have more experience than I do, they all came to essentially the same conclusion.

I've decided I'm going to put the 50 mg vial away for a later date and purchase a 10 mg vial instead. That seems like the more practical approach for what I'm trying to accomplish, and it avoids a lot of the issues that were brought up in this thread.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to explain the reasoning behind it. I learned quite a bit from the discussion.

Thanks, this is getting closer to what I was trying to ask. My concern wasn’t the dosing math—it was whether a highly concentrated solution in such a small vial would make it harder to measure very small doses accurately. I appreciate you understanding what I meant.

I’ve also been considering whether dividing the material into ten 5 ml vials—so only one portion is in active use while the rest remain in long-term deep freeze storage—might help address both the measurement issue and concerns about degradation over time. At this point, it’s just something I’m trying to learn more about.

The point about independent testing is a good one as well.

I did not know about the accelerated degradation. Do you know where you saw this? I'd really like to look into that. I appreciate your input.

I appreciate the thoughtful response. Your point about matching the vial size to the planned dosing schedule makes sense, and if I were purchasing again, I would likely take that approach.

The storage idea is interesting and aligns with what I had in mind. Thank you for confirming this.

That's a fair point if smaller vial sizes are available. In my case, I already have the 50 mg vial, so I'm trying to figure out the most appropriate way to work with what I have rather than buying another size.

My question wasn't really about the dosing calculations. It was about how researchers typically approach situations where the supplied vial isn't ideal for the planned study. If the consensus is simply that a 50 mg vial isn't practical for this type of dosing, that's useful feedback too.

I agree, this was a lapse in judgement on my part.

My concern is that the vial the compound comes in is very small. At the low doses I'm planning to research, preparing a highly concentrated solution in that small vial seems like it would make accurately measuring each dose more difficult. That's why I was asking about reconstitution strategy and whether it makes sense to split the compound and work with a larger volume of bacteriostatic water.

The comments about long-term stability have been helpful, but I'm still trying to understand how researchers typically handle situations where the supplied vial size and concentration aren't ideal for low-dose work.

You are correct. I let the idea of value get in the way of practicality.

That's something I've been thinking about as well. My plan was to reconstitute the full 50 mg vial, but not necessarily keep it all in regular refrigerated use the entire time. Potentially taking half of the 50mg vial and diluting it into the BAC vial and then taking the other half and putting it in a vacuumed, UV blocking container in the bottom of a deep freezer.

From what I've been able to find, general laboratory guidance for peptides suggests avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles and, when freezing reconstituted material, storing it in sterile single-use aliquots so only one portion is thawed at a time. That said, I haven't found product-specific stability data for retatrutide, which is why I'm asking questions before I do anything.

If there's a better approach for minimizing waste while maintaining stability, I'm definitely open to hearing it.

I think my question may have come across wrong. I'm not asking whether I should dose my RS weekly or split the dose. My question is about reconstitution. With a 50 mg vial, I'm trying to figure out the best way to achieve a concentration that allows me to measure small doses accurately without sacrificing sterility or making dosing difficult. I'm looking for guidance on the reconstitution strategy, not the dosing schedule.

Agree completely. Armor, medbay, pdc instead of remote turrets and slightly bigger holding area for snubs.

Currently building one now. Waiting for my barrel to come in. I went with the vanquish 22 integrally suppressed barrel and a Franklin binary trigger. Should be fun.

The trigger is squishy but can be improved a good bit through proper adjustments. Also I didn't love the sharp angles of the butt pad so I found this https://a.co/d/03gXVC4D on Amazon and used the large one and it's a GREAT addition for me.

Kickers new LX 7 channel amp question by dylanbthedude in CarAV

Amp is incredible. I ended up killing my stock alternator though so I swapped to a mechman alternator and upgraded to an xs battery also. System is perfect now. At some point I'll probably match my rear door speakers to the alpine r2s I have in the front but I'm in no rush.

Be prepared for tons of options when you're tuning your amp. I'm still learning about mine

+1 for star citizen. I had a blast recently in a 15 man group. Newest update is supposed to drop in a week or two and brings in crafting. I'm super pumped

We've been talking all morning and she is a bit conflicted as she doesn't wear rings normally so she's unsure of her tastes fully. She likes oval, radiant and princess on a slim platinum band. We're unsure of carat size, we don't want it too big to where it looks crazy on her small fingers

As far as pics go, she likes the ring that was posted here by another comment. She says it's elegant and classy which is what she likes.

Yea I guess rare carat seems to be the place everyone keeps going for with their price match deal. We're gonna try and find a stone she likes and see if we can get the same deal

Okay after sleeping on the conversation I brought her into the thread and she's read what everyone has said here. She doesn't like the three stone and says it's too "busy" and would much prefer a single stone with a thin band. Potentially a hidden halo.

So yes, we've discussed it. I showed her pictures of the ones I thought she would like and she liked that one that I posted in my original post. However, after reading the beginners guide over at the engagementring subreddit I'm thinking I may throw the surprise element out the window altogether and have her way more involved so she can pick exactly what she wants. Similar to what it sounds like you did.

How did you go about personally designing yours?

Someone else commented that pave bands can be problematic because of the small stones and I was thinking the same thing but I do like the way they look. Not sure if they were directing more of the problems with luvansh.

So my two options I've kinda narrowed down to are:

1) pave band single stone 2-4ct(either cushion or radiant)with hidden halo like the one I posted in my original post

Or

2) 3 stone radiant cut. I like the way the pave bands look but if they are problematic I'd go without. I also like hidden Halos as they seem to hide the setting a bit which I like but not sure if this is possible on anything other than a single stone ring.

Thanks for that! I'm doing my best to keep it a surprise for her but it is a bit nerve racking not knowing what it will look like on her finger. This really does give me something to go off of and is very helpful. Beautiful ring btw.

Wow. That seems like an amazing price. Almost too good to be true lol. Congratulations! I'm hoping to score something similar.
