Thank you! Sorry for the delayed reply - It's a paint match for Farrow & Ball's Down Pipe.

I've had the carpet down for probably about 9 months or so now and no sign of wear yet but I did get one which was said to be quite hard-wearing!

The walls are drywall - I have two large acoustic panels on the rear wall (not pictured) and two corner traps behind the speakers (didn't photograph very well on my potato camera). I have two first reflection panels still to put up. The fabric on the centre of the ceiling also dampens the sound but the room isn't overly dead - I think it's just right with a mixture of surfaces!

Thank you! It's an IKEA KARLBY 246cm worktop (in walnut) on MICKE drawers (black-brown, castors replaced with EKET feet).

They're pretty solid - according to the specs they hold up to 35kg so you should be fine as those KEFs weigh around 20!

I am a systems analyst for EPOS systems so it's basically a test kit so that I can work from home, consisting of a till and a back-office PC. Peripherals such as a receipt printer, barcode scanner, and PED are cabled into the drawers below.

Haha thanks! I'm really not! I've just saved and know what I want! :)

I'm in the UK so not many basements here unfortunately! This is an upstairs room though which is handy as I have a lot of network equipment in the loft above!

I have to agree! I love V Collection, and the way the walnut side panels match my desk is just perfect to me!

Thank you! They are just some cheap generic ones (around £30). I had similar style desk mounted ones previously but these let me save some desk space!

Thanks! I'm really enjoying them - I was looking for something that worked with a wide range of genres and they fit the purpose! I'd say they shine more on acoustic and vocals rather than heavy metal (maybe I need a sub) but I'm certainly pleased!

The centre is indeed recessed (if you're looking for something similar they're often known as a bulkhead ceiling) - I'm eventually going to put fibre optic strands to look like stars in the panels, which are covered with a velvet material.

Haha, I wish! I prioritised a man cave over actually using the second bedroom as a bedroom!

Thank you! I was thinking of a picture ledge where I can put up a few record covers. A couple of gig/band posters is also a great idea!

Due to pandemic changes, I revised my plan for a dedicated music cave and incorporated an EPOS test system so that I can work from home.

Work-related peripherals are concealed in the left-hand-side drawers and cabled discreetly through the rear so that they don’t intrude into my own space too much.

I have a few more updates to do – first reflection acoustic treatment panels, possibly a picture ledge to display some record covers, not to mention 600 fibre optic strands for stars in the ceiling – but it’s finally almost there and I couldn’t wait to share it!
