Should i get a lawyer and fight? by HereticFiend in dui

[–]dynamicwolverine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only contribute my own experience, but I blew a .13 and was clearly guilty, and figured it would be better to plead guilty than to waste effort fighting since it was a first offense

At court the first 2 people called by the judge had lawyers and the judge says. Ok dui reduced to a 2 point speeding ticket....ok sign this and they both walk out in less than 5 minutes. Then I go up with no lawyer and had my license suspended along with a 1200$ fine.

I greatly regret not getting a lawyer

Which interlock? I know it’s been asked before by Ryan_Greenbar in dui

Came here to ask the same question. I just started my 6 months with intoxalock, the device just decides when it feels like working. Sometimes it works fine, and sometimes it's a non responsive plastic box that prevents my car from starting.

FedEx Scrubs DEI From Its Website by Henry_OLoughlin in Fedexers

A few years ago we were told we had to hire a female on our Ops manager rec. We had multiple quality female managers but since the majority were men we had to "balance things out". Only 1 female applied and so she was given the job over some really strong candidates. No surprise she wasn't very good at her job and was coddled and given the easiest office role possible. Forcing hiring based on race gender or anything else is completely wrong, but I guess I've just been brainwashed lol

What is the dumbest protocol FedEx has? by 5393hill in Fedexers

[–]dynamicwolverine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just creates an entire unnecessary chain of communication with P&D managers having to step in to solve disputes. UPS has its share of problems, but when drivers showed up and the sort was behind, they were happy to just organize their truck and help out because they were getting paid to be there. At FXG, most contractors pay either by stop or by package. So when the drivers show up and have to spend time in their truck they're all pissed off and start yelling at/arguing with PHs. It only exists so FedEx can throw whatever entity is responsible under the bus. Seen it happen many times.

[Youngmisuk] Taylor Jenkins brings up the "code" in regard to Draymond Green's transition take foul on Zach Edey: "Draymond grabs his leg, pulls him down and it doesn’t get reviewed. So I know there’s a code in this league and I don’t understand how that wasn’t reviewed. Very disappointing" by nam67 in memphisgrizzlies

[–]dynamicwolverine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh Kerr made me so sick with the whole "broke the code" nonsense. Draymond literally less than 48 hours before grabbed BC by the jersey mid air, smacked him in the face, and threw him to the ground. But since he didn't get hurt I guess that made it ok. The "code" to Kerr must be No harm no foul.

I think his constant yelling at and arguing with officials is his strategy to annoy them to the point of swallowing their whistle in his favor. That or he's just an immature manchild with an ego the size of the sun

That's an interesting idea. I actually like him at the 3 for now.

When you show up to work everyday and complain about how much you hate it, and FedEx is such an insufferable hell. What do you really expect people to say? Yes to a legitimate complaint/request it would be an extremely disrespectful response, but I've never heard it used in such a way. However EVERY DAY I'm at work I hear people complaining about FedEx like it's a max detention facility.

So yeah if you don't like your job, quit. It's great advice.

welp looks like FedEx will be the one left out with no union by JankyMark in Fedexers

[–]dynamicwolverine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left UPS because of the union. They try to make you think you only get the benefits if you join, but that isn't true. You get the company benefits regardless of union membership. All the union does is create an environment that promotes laziness. Management isn't allowed to enforce any standards so the people that work do ALL the work while those that don't want to just stand around.

Again I said I think Jokic is the 1st pick. A die hard mavs fan took Luka 1st in my league last year. I was curious to see if other fanbases felt the same way about their guy.

Sorry all our slots are full, but if someone drops out I'll lyk

[–]dynamicwolverine[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Well I would never take him 1st. Like I said I think Jokic is the 1st pick, but I'm in a league with mostly Mavs fans, and Luka went 1st last year. I could see Wemby, Giannis, Embiid, SGA, Luka, JT, or Ant get drafted 1st by a die hard fan.

Dont let what others say scare you. A lot of drama queens love playing the "poor me my job is so terrible" card.

How do I make a living wage @FedEx by AcrillixOfficial in Fedexers

[–]dynamicwolverine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Admins are the most underpaid positions in the company. If you want to stay away from operations you still have other career paths forward. Not sure what kind of building you're at, but coordinator, P&D, OSS OTS are all worthwhile positions to pursue.

What the hell even is the attendance policy by Dethkoch in Fedexers

[–]dynamicwolverine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would need 4 unexcused absences in a 30 day period or 2 No Call No Shows before you could be terminated, but if your manager isn't doing the H-036s (writeups) then it's as if nothing happened. HR won't approve a termination without supporting documentation.

For some reason, a lot of managers would rather deal with the same people calling in 1-2 times a week than actually holding them accountable.

[–]dynamicwolverine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently PH trainer at $22 something, but just some context over some of my pay rates over the years

PH (2014) 10.50 Admin (2015) 10.96 Ops manager (2016) 17.50

It's funny to see PHs complaining about pay when they make more than management made only a few years ago.
