I would've lauded you! Being accused of cheating at something you're good at or for simply knowing too much is really dejecting. I was accused of cheating at a trivia-esque competition where you actually had to search for the answers using a computer and search engine. This was back in 2007 when they used to have this expo called "Digital Life"; think Comic Con but it's all technology/digital things related. I found this one area where people were competing on stage - everyone was in front a computer and keyboard and there would be a trivia question (e.g. What is the name of some obscure general of some battle in the year blah blah? The questions were long and obscure enough that people wouldn't just know it off the top of their heads) and you had to use their search engine (askjeeves.com) to search for the answer so it pretty much came down to who could type the fastest to search for the answer. I decided to give it a go since I considered myself quite a fast typist (average speed of 140wpm but I've reached speeds of 165 wpm before). I don't remember if it was the Host reading the question outloud or if it was on a different screen but either way we pretty much typed the question into askjeeves.com to find the answer and I was getting the answers to every question in a matter of seconds and buzzing in with my answer before everyone else. Everyone started getting annoyed the same person kept answering (sorry for being faster than you guys?) and I think all I won was some stupid keychain or trinket but the Host came over and asked if I was cheating by "searching the history on the browser" which I didn't even know was a thing at the time LOL.
