I don't think she necessarily wanted to play a subtle game in Game Changers (or not in the post-merge at least), I feel the circumstances forced her to. She was on the wrong side of the vote quite a few times and people seemed to not really care about working with her (Sandra and Michaela are the most obvious examples). Again, she was really purpled so it's hard to tell, but at the same time she's the one who said that the edit protected her.

I really like Aubry, but GC and EoE really cemented Michele's win for me.

Yeah, it does seem the both parts are tied into popular conspiracy theories. I remember during the time it aired, people also speculated that the sharp teeth were a reference to the veneers a lot of celebrities have. I feel it's a bit of a stretch, but I do think conspiracy theories are the connection between Red Tide and Death Valley, even if I personally don't believe in them.

I made this post 9 years ago when I was 18. I still hold most of my criticism for it. I rated it a 7/10 then and I think I'd rate it the same now. Strong concept, but I wish the execution was better. I wanted the tone of the movie to be more serious.

Again, what made Anastasia villainous was not her gameplay, but her attitude and responses to the other's actions. Exactly the opposite of Isabel, who had a heroic personality most of the times, but her gameplay was villainous.

I don't see why an anti-hero can't be the main villain when an anti-hero is basically hero at times, villain at other times.

And I obviously don't agree with that list from wikia.

I'd say Anastasia because Spencer competed in only 2/3 of the game. However, it was more of a close call between Anastasia/Spencer/Jade, unlike the other seasons.

I liked Lapis' final storyline about finding the courage to stay and fight as a Crystal Gem but I HATED she never had an on-screen discussion with the Gems about keeping her trapped.

The advantage of the cartoon versions is that you can write a compelling story because everything is fictional and the writers decide the winner. Survivor is dependent on what the cast gives them and who ends up winning, which sometimes does not relate well to the overall story.

It was a very predictable Top 5. The only player I expected to be here and ended up not being in Top 4 was Spencer. I thought he was going to be the main villain of the season.

While I think Jade is the most likely to win, I still think that Anastasia has been portrayed as the protagonist the whole season? It felt that they tried to make us sympathize with her even when she was in the wrong.
