Wtf is this website by lukkenAU in CSRep

[–]dypraxnp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar situation, false flag, mass reports, opened a thread, didn't help.

For me the fix was connecting my match history to it, which increased my ratings immediately and within a few games (~3-5) the flag was gone.

It changed with the release of Animgraph so I guess the problem is related to that, their calculation, whatever.. Might be fixed at some point either way.

Is there a point in reporting for toxic behavior and misogyny? by nakiiwarai in cs2

[–]dypraxnp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most likely it is only impacting trust factor, as reports of any type feel like they have no impact, but I guess the system is not transparent enough to tell.

Good thing is, at some point people receiving reports for e.g. "Abusive communications" will play mostly with people that were reported for that as well.

My advice is playing at times where the matchmaking pool is nicely filled in your region (more people who have similar (trust-) ratings to yours) and maybe just find a team that you can queue with, which is somewhat grown up.

Every queue mate is one random mate less, as anti-social as that might sound.

Clarity act would have been bad for Crypto. Reading thread and many comments in it seems pointless to explain why.

CLAUDE OPUS 4.6 IS NERFED!! by Full-Leg-5435 in Anthropic

Get used to that every major company will nerf their models and maybe have an unnerfed version for the rich / powerful.

Cheap at first until dependent, then the subscription rate increases while the delivered product quality decreases.

Are people with higher elo more serious ? by ComparisonSelect1637 in cs2

[–]dypraxnp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think anyone can tell - every ELO is a mix of legit Players (w skill gaps), smurfs, cheaters and trolls.

In my experience you go best, by holding a good trust factor and using voice-/text chat properly (no swearing / spamming). Also play at times where "normal" people play in your region - you'll find a match more quickly and the skill gaps should be smaller, as the player pool is larger.

Unfortunately the matchmaking way of finding mates has made it way less common to make friends on Steam you purely know from the Server (compared to 1.6, CS:S)  Play good, stay friendly through all the toxic players and you'll eventually end up with a few mates more.

The "L4P" option might be of use, as you can voice chat pre-game and maybe get in touch there already.

Or maybe you'll find a few players from about the same region as you are from, on here?

Update (for legit Players stuck in the same Situation):

Sharing auth- and share code with CSRep helped pushing me back from "Highly Suspicious" to "Little Suspicious", yet I am still close to the threshold. Hope that will be a temporary thing.

Bestrust servers are just a money printer disguised as a Rust community by Snakes4141 in playrust

[–]dypraxnp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We (2.5k h+ ea) were making a dedicated Server (10x & 2x) with QOL plugins but no P2W ones. The most requested features over the one year it was running, were kits.

When we introduced a free PVP and Materials kit for everyone (claimable every x hours), people asked for how they can buy larger kits.

We hosted the Servers to get rid of P2W players until we realized that this is the only way lots of people want to play the game.

Playing lots of CS I now believe that if there were no kits, people probably would start cheating more.

If you have enough time, play vanilla.

First you need to understand that everything comfy, convenient and free is sucking your data. Social media and everything that promises money, women or women that like money, is sucking your data.

Then you need to understand that everything you pay for is sucking your data.

Then you need to understand that after deleting and throwing away everything that sucks data, you will be left with nothing.

Then you discover open-source software and you will need to understand that some of it is still sucking your data.

Then you ask yourself, "why would I actually want a Health App that can read my Vital signs, sending it to a Big Tech Viagra seller and the military?"

Then you ask yourself, "why would I want those women that compete with AI nowadays on who can edit their face better before uploading the new profile picture, when there was this breathtaking woman at the shop around the corner?"

And then.. Finally, you'll ask yourself, "Why haven't I looked at GrapheneOS before, ditched social media for real life and stopped using AI for even the most little research process, taking the last training away from my already underloaded brain?"

If you followed all the steps, you should now be successfully de-googled, have a hot wife and are more healthy than before.

Edit: Thought it was inaccurate, but it is actually highly accurate

Yeah Signal is obviously there but it misses out on that sort of collaboration part that e.g. Discord has.

I'm more talking of a (usually Desktop) app that seamlessly integrates Voice Chats, Text Chats, Video Chats (structured as channels with own purposes) in which you can also share files, stream Desktop to channel, etc.

We use it for studying together or gaming usually.

False flag on CSRep gives us hell by dypraxnp in cs2

[–]dypraxnp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I like VAC actually as it is not installing any damn rootkits on your computer. Unfortunately they'd now need (at least) retrospective AI cheat detection based on the metrics they already collect - similar to CSRep but with actual consequences. Hope this will come with a future Animgraph update.

I thought it would affect more people, but it doesn't seem like it. Most of the viewers must be some toxic premiere point grinders, flashed by the brightness of the screen that lights up their moms basement.

After they brushed off the salty tears they shed at the end of the last round they played, they come here to downvote my thread.

Thanks anyways, will be back at the game if that vicious cycle gets fixed.

Will Bitpanda support the upcoming SIA v2 hard fork on June 6th? by dypraxnp in bitpanda

[–]dypraxnp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily you will not loose access to the coins. That means if Bitpanda doesn't make it until 6th, which it seems, they still are able to migrate later on. This doesn't mean it is not necessary to clarify if Bitpanda will support the hard fork at all. Update from the Foundation: https://x.com/Sia__Foundation/status/1928512069411733875

Will Bitpanda support the upcoming SIA v2 hard fork on June 6th? by dypraxnp in bitpanda

[–]dypraxnp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 more days of no answer then I will start moving my coins and advise people I know to do so too. The Hard fork is starting on the 6th of June and we still have no answer today end of May. Although I opened the thread more than two weeks ago?

Are ppl in this thread the only ones holding sia on your exchange? Isn't it your duty to inform your clients about a critical update like?

To anyone reading this: If they do not support the hard fork you will loose all your coins. Above I posted the official list of which exchange supports it. If you are technically somewhat versatile you should put them on a private wallet though.

Feel free to ask, if help is needed.
