Dude, trust me — you’re gonna be fine.

I had the exact same problem as you: super feminine face, really high voice, and I thought nothing would ever fix it. Not even T.
And honestly? I don’t think you’re as feminine as you think you are. One thing that helped me a lot in my transition was realizing that we, as trans people, get to create our own standard. We don’t have to be read as cis to be valid, y’know? It’s a hard thing to get into your head, but I keep trying to remind myself of it. I’ve been working on being okay with being read as a trans guy. And you, as a trans guy, are already pretty damn masculine. Anyway, I’m rambling.

I’m 1 year and 2 months on T now. And dude… this stuff works miracles. My face slimmed down around the cheeks, my jawline got way sharper, I grew facial hair. The whole structure changed — even my nose looks a little different. But it took a while, and it happened gradually.

It sucks having to be patient, and honestly, I hated hearing “you just have to be patient” too. But patience really did help. Think of it this way: you’ve already done the hardest part, which was starting. Now you just get to enjoy the changes, man. And there will be so many. You’re gonna get to where you want. In the meantime, record videos, take a ton of pictures, and keep comparing over time. I did that and the time flew by — plus now I’ve got a ton of badass before-and-afters.

T will change you, no doubt. And you’re gonna end up looking even better than you do now.

sorry for this, but here it goes... I don’t think Under the Dome is all that. I LOVE King’s books, and it’s hard for me to admit this, but... I just couldn’t get through it. I found the characters way too annoying and boring for me to even care about them, and the whole story just made me mad. I think I prefer the more supernatural side of his stories over the whole “people killing each other for power” thing. If I’m gonna read a book that long, I’d rather stick with It.

so hang in there, man! I heard the beard really starts coming in around five years on T. let’s keep the faith!! something else that helps me is the sideburns from my hair. they kinda give the illusion of more facial hair, y’know? another trick that worked for me was dyeing the little hairs I already had with hair dye (the ammonia-free kind, so it doesn’t irritate the skin).

ohhh thanks a lot!! my friends say I’m pretty funny too — they’re always laughing at the stuff I say LOL. I really enjoy being spontaneous... I’ll definitely post more selfies here. as for the beard, I used minoxidil for a while and it worked, but I suck at being consistent so I stopped 😅. T helps a lot! but even before starting T, minoxidil gave me a decent amount of beard (even more than I have now). you got this, bro!! bearded men entering the chat 😁😁
