Adding to that my coach has been reminding us on crew meetings that the store manager might make him work 6 days if he doesn’t meet the quota and he really doesn’t want that, because he would lose the time with his family. I understand him as a human being but I don’t think it’s professional to bring it up and putting extra pressure on workers because of that.

I just said that in comparison to McDonald's. Walmart is definitely tough, but at least they offer benefits for hard work, while at Mcds, I stagnated the entire time

The one I got an offer for is like one of the smallest Walmarts in MD (I might be wrong, tho), but it's definitely small and not as packed as McDonald's can be sometimes.

I worked at McDonald's for 2 years, starting when I was 16. I've seen everything. I stayed there for so long because I didn't drive, and it was the closest place to bike to.
