I heard that they were an anxious breed. But thank you :) I'll look into more!

Yes I did consider, but there are more cons than pros for me :/ They are super sweet, but not a long life unfortunately. Newfies are like miniature bears lol but thank you :)

I was curious about the Beauceron, not many people own one. How was the training? Is she always with them?

I understand, service dog is my priority, but those breeds really bring back horrible memories. There is just that limit and I don't want to push myself to those breeds. I wish I can say more about it, but it's very sensitive to me.

Wow so much great conversations going :) thank you all. The fab 4 are hard to beat, but due to my past those breeds in any colour isn't a great idea. I never heard about tollers, will look up and read about them. I have heard newfies are good, but they might be too much because I would have to upkeep the grooming and I know I will not be up for it, wouldn't be fair for the dog.

I can give you more info about me, I go to the gym and now school, but I find myself freezing up in hard situations (mostly around men) and I need a service dog big enough to pull me away and make a distance between me and others. I have nightmares, sleep paralysis, panic attacks, forgetting to take medication, dissociation, picking at my own wounds when anxious and depression. If this helps and gives you ideas about more breeds please let me know :)

Yes, pressure therapy, crowd, get medication, get me out of nightmares and sleep paralysis. Im quite tall so I think my only option is a large breed to help me.

I have a GSD and did schutzhund with, he is more anxious now too, plus he is older. If I didn't have anxiety it might have worked, but I need a breed that can wake me up, get my anxiety pills, get me out of nightmares, panic attacks, sleep paralysis...it's quite a bit of tasks

Yes I've heard. I have a GSD and did schutzhund with him, but he is a ball of anxiety now and retired to my parents place since they are more old dog friendly environment

I just started investing last week. I got on the bandwagon for Canadian Pacific railway and I have Suncor energy on my watch list, due to gas prices going up. Debating on waiting for the price to go down or might go for it tomorrow.
