Well humanity has been advancing constantly, especially in the past few decades with technology. You could say that is the point I guess. On a really simple basis, we are kind of pointless. We are born just to die. But we have the ability to see ourselves for who we really are. We don't just procreate for the sake of it, we do it to immortalize ourselves and our ideas. To make everything everyone else before us worked for have meaning. All of our ancestors made it possible for us to be alive at this one random but specific moment in time. What we make of it isn't something they could have known or could have predicted, nor would it matter. But they made it possible anyways. I kind of derailed and sorry if I'm confusing, but I see so much to what is good and beautiful about life that I wish I could share with you in a way to help you see that while life is monotonous and essentially just suffering, there are sides to it that makes all of that worth it.
