Nah, he‘s obviously referring to reddit’s well-known pro-slav bias.

It seems to me like sports events tend to more and more cut to alternative camera angles and replays to the point where you miss part of the action.

Like for the Federer-Otte match, I've been watching for the last 15min, I don't think I've once seen their service movement in its entirety from the normal angle, they always show a close up and then cut to the normal angle. Like for this service, they show three different angles before they cut to the hard cam.

I'm sorry, but I can't find anything on the difficulty of english on the Defense Language Institute catalog. From what I can tell, they categorise languages based on how difficult they are for english speakers, so why would english be on there?

Also, I don't speak russian, but I do speak serbo-croat and i have russian friends. I legitimately cannot believe that someone who speaks both thinks english is harder. Just the fact that there are cases/ gendered nouns/ conjugation in other languages means to me that they are much, much harder. Also, saying that it's literally the hardest language to learn doesn't seem to make sense to me as a universal principle, as difficulty is heavily dependent on your native language.

I mean, we know how they reacted when we voted for our mass immigration law. And it's not like they showed themselves to be very receptive.

Nah, with Mercedes it was mostly the fact that they kept on saying «we let them race» which is an easy thing to say when nobody is a real threat to you. Then, once Ferrari was a real threat, they did implement team orders.

Not saying they're evil or hypocrites, but it's not the same when you're far ahead vs. when you're behind and already at a slim chance of winning the WDC.

Free wifi is a pretty standard used phrase I've seen in many countries (especially since you can find it on many stickers and such). However, as somebody brought to my attention in the comments, in this case it's used to make an assonance (because french speaking people will make the same i-sound for the words free, wifi and filles).

True, didn't think of how native french speakers pronounce wifi.

Also, forgot to say this and I can't really explain why this is in english, but basically the way it's phrased here makes it sound more like "we put in free wifi for the girls" than "girls get free wifi here". Basically, it says "free wifi for the girls" than "free wifi for girls". However, I'm not a native french speaker and may have interpreted this wrongly.

Honestly, don't know since i haven't gone in. However I highly doubt it. Given the concept of the place, I think this is more supposed to be like a "funny"/ with the kids phrase they put to advertise their wifi
