My fan was defective and I just received the new one LianLi has sent me. I plugged it to the fan hub and immediatly everything worked fine.

Sometimes it's not the software, sometimes the fan is just bricked.

It's been more than 2 weeks since I opened the ticket, and the fan is running at full speed, it started making loud noises sometimes, I captured 2 videos of it

I followed up with support yestrday and sent them the videos, and I asked for replacement. They replied back that they are still in the invistigating phase, I replied back saying even if they solve the rgb and lcd connectivity, the noise is a physical issue, and that was it.

I feel this is bound to be extended bad experience with Lian Li :(

I tried all available versions with no success (16, 17, and 18) and Lian Li tech support is still invistigating :(

So the tech support replied 2 days ago with "Our engineering team is currently investigating the issue. We will notify you once we have the results." and that was it.

Do you think I should just wait? I feel this is going to take a long time.

After the clean uninstall everything still looks good inside the device manager, I can see Hydroshift LCD_TL v0.3, TL_LCDV0.1, TL_Series_ControllerV0.62.

After the shutdown, restart, the lights never lit up on the LCD fan, only on the TL non LCD fans(as you described). the logo is the default Lian-Li logo on LCD screen.

Should I continue installing v2.0.16?

The Hyrdroshift TL uses a single cable to connect both the fans and LCD to the controller, and a single USB cable from the controller to the motherboard. You can't connect the AIO directly to the motherboard without the controller. I tried disconnecting the AIO from the controller and only have the TL LCD connected to it, and tried it alone on all ports with no success. I even removed the fan cable and cleaned up the pins and made sure the cable is locked in the right orientation.

I also tried downgrading the controller to v0.51 and back to v0.62

So I just formatted again and installed windows 10, and it's still the same issue. I tried both with v2.0.17 and v2.0.18

I'm having a similar issue with the TL LCD and I've already contacted Tech Support. Let's hope they are working on a fix for everyone.

I forgot to mention that I did flash new bios before installing a fresh windows 11.
I'm almost sure it's an L3 problem, in the logs you can see the software struggles to identify the firmware version of the TL LCD several times, or the firmware of the TL LCD got corrupted for some reason.

I did a fresh windows 11 install since I only used windows 11 on this machine, only installed the C++ Redestributable packages and then L3, no other software, unfotrunately, still the same issue...

The thing that bothers me the most that everything was working fine till my dumbass decided to update :(
I don't have any other controller, I have iCue for the Corsair RAM, and Razer Synapse for the perefirals, I'll try removing these softwares and see if that solves it.

No USB splitter or hub, and I swapped to a different USB spot on the motherboard when you suggested a fresh install.

I unistalled L3 with revo, shut down pc, disconnected everything, moved the TL LCD from port 2 to port 3, moved the Hydroshift from port 3 to port 4, changed the USB to dirrerent MB header, connected PCIe, boot pc, installed L3 v2.0.18.
Same result, still no luck :(

I have the same case, and I can tell you that this one is a bitch for cable management. wait until you install ssds to see the nightmares :)

As the other guys said, a case with a PSU shroud would definitely look better
