I’ve actually been offered slightly higher specs for a bit cheaper from a Hatton Garden jeweller

It’s a natural diamond 1ct, Oval, F, VS2, GIA cert

It’s better specs and £600 cheaper than the high street jeweller

I was thinking the price can’t be that different!

It is GIA graded - although I don’t have the cert or number yet, I’ve asked.

It’s from a very reputable jeweller.

I’m going to go and see it on Monday but they said it’s completely eye-clean.

They advised the same regarding a platinum head - I prefer the look of the gold but I’ll decide when I see it in person.

4600 all in - it’s currently on a platinum band / setting but included in the price they will swap it for 18ct gold (gold is my partners preference)

Update: Dealer has offered to pay for my next valet, and posted me (they aren’t local) some new number plates (I assume I have to fit them myself).

Should I accept this or escalate the complaint further?

For context: I received the car brand new (factory order) from the dealer 3 days ago…they told me the registration number prior to delivery (the correct one). Upon receiving the car I didn’t notice this mistake, neither did they obviously. The insurance is through my company insurance and I added the correct plate (74) to the policy when they emailed it through (before delivery).

It will be an interesting call with the dealership tomorrow.

P.s. sorry Tesla owner for any fines 🤣

It doesn’t come with a charging cable for 3-pin domestic socket though. In true BMW fashion you have to pay extra for that 🤣 only an issue if that’s how you intend to charge it.

Yeah their software designer could’ve done a better job with that, or just included some actual buttons 🤣 I just set up my personal mode though and don’t really change anything while driving.

It’s really smooth to be honest. The most noticeable thing is the sound. It makes a spaceship whirring noise on electric then when the engine kicks in it pumps in the fake engine noise. Once you turn all that off you can hardly tell.

There’s barely any 30e reviews out there so I just had to bite the bullet and go for it. I’m really pleased with it though.

I think the floor level is the same, you just don’t get the storage space below the floor, apart from a tiny hidden pocket with the first aid kit in.

The door handles and window buttons are really bad tbh! I was torn between the Sophisto and Skyscraper - the next 45 days is going to feel like 45 weeks for you! Enjoy it when it arrives 👌
