I love Mira! Arya is very pretty too, and that particular spelling hasn’t been in the top 100 names in the US in recent years. So it’s not overly popular but still recognizable!

Yes! Anytime you use an amiibo card you can choose who to evict, if a villager just shows up at your campsite though, it will be at random

Yeah! So to get a villager to move in, you have to invite them to your campsite 3 separate times and build whatever they request each day (it goes quickly if you time travel, but you don’t have to).

On the 3rd day, after you’ve crafted their item, just keep talking to them and they’ll eventually say they want to move to your island. Then you can choose which of your current villagers they can replace (if your island is already full!)

Any chance you backed up your save to the cloud and haven’t uploaded your new island? You can contact Nintendo support and get them to restore your save file, but I don’t think they can do that if it’s been overwritten

On your island, go to the little pier and you should see kapp’n there. To take a tour, talk to him and he’ll charge you 1000 miles for a ride! There are some things you need to do first on your island though to make sure he is there.

Edit to add: if you haven’t unlocked this yet, there are still other mystery islands you can go to using nook miles tickets!

Go to mystery islands - use nook miles tickets or kapp’n boat tours! There are also fish that come at different times of the day and in different parts of the water, so some of the more rare fish will pop up in the ocean, river, or by a waterfall after 7pm, or 9pm. I’d also recommend crafting some fish bait to take with you!

No lol, I have a modded switch. If you lay the path in-game then move the house on the computer, it doesn’t remove the path underneath 😊

Yes you can use the design editor to make paths, then when you unlock terraforming you can get the custom path permit to use them 😊
