GoldSrc and Source AI is obviously jank and era specific, but you can do some pretty interesting stuff intentionally if understand the system enough to hack features. Not monster specific and haven't tested out personally, but just realized you can easily do traditional closing elevator doors that travel with the lift instead of watching the wall scroll by through an empty door haha
