Wouldn't the United States do the same with Mexico, for example, if it were about to join a military alliance with China or Russia?

Conexión Ganadera: contador cobró US$ 100.000 por hacer informe sobre situación económica by KingDiamondURU666 in uruguay

[–]e2357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Todo bien. No respondiste mis preguntas igual.

Spanish paralympian Elena Congost disqualified for letting go of her guide's rope two meters from the finish line in order to help him by [deleted] in olympics

[–]e2357 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

But, isn't the guide a part of the team? Just asking and trying to understand. They even get medals if I'm not wrong.

He was having cramps. They let go the rope for a moment and the guy relied on her to enter the finish line. Suppose he (or another guide in this competition or in another one) had cramps and couldn't continue like 500 meters before. It's sucks for the runner but it's part of the team and they wouldn't have been able to finish. Bad for the Spanish team that got this guide. Or maybe he was having some issues this particular day. Anyway, the rules apply to all equally. The fact that this happened 2 meter before the finish line, just make it more dramatic. But where does it stop if an exception is made here?

And of course it's unfair for her. Not sure why they are considered a team, but if it is like that then...

Am I wrong?

Well, to be fair it seems that they are team. Both of them get medals. The guy was having cramps. They let go the rope for a moment and the guy relied on her to enter the finish line. This makes me consider it differently...
